JOB OPENING DETAILS: A well-known Fast Company seeks seasoned EE Fast Food Area Managers for their establishments in South Africa.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing multiple restaurants, typically 6 to 8 stores concurrently. Guiding Restaurant Managers to ensure stores capture market share and meet customer, personnel, and profit objectives. Emphasizing customer satisfaction, facilities management, HR management, financial management, informational management, and risk management. Focusing on sales/marketing and time management. Providing high-visibility leadership and coaching. Conducting daily store audits with weekly and monthly feedback to managers. Making regular visits to restaurants. Implementing periodical and quarterly store audit routines. Participating in Operations meetings and maintaining communication with managers. Assisting managers in formulating SMART plans. Enforcing disciplinary procedures and presiding over inquiries. Aiding in the opening of new restaurants. Establishing and developing teams in alignment with company goals. Conducting business annual planning for the region (budgeting). Ensuring store profitability. Managing local store marketing efforts overseen by Managers. Dealing with suppliers when necessary. Handling escalated customer complaints. Conducting Head Office inspections to ensure operational store functioning. Implementing succession planning, people planning, and benching staff for senior positions.

Requirements:

Consideration for this role is limited to EE candidates. Completion of Matric/Grade 12. Possession of a relevant Business Management Diploma or Degree would be advantageous. A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience as an Area Manager with Fast Food stores, managing a minimum of 6 stores simultaneously. Prior Area Manager experience with KFC, Nandos, Barcello’s, Steers, Debonairs, or similar QSR is essential. Experience with Micros/GAAP POS systems. Hold a valid driver’s license. Have access to reliable transportation. Able to travel regularly. Open to South African Citizens only. Salary is commensurate with relevant operational experience and skill set.
